Rezoning Request Community Involvement Meeting, March 22

William Stephans is requesting the rezoning of a 2.74-acre tract from R-SF (Residential Single-Family) to CZ I-G (Conditional Zoning General Industrial) to permit an auto body repair and paint shop. The property is located on the south eastern corner of the intersection of N.C. 27 and Rhyne Forest Road in Ironton Township.

A community involvement meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 6 p.m. to provide information about the proposal and to receive comments prior to a public hearing. This will be a virtual meeting on the Zoom platform, joinable via computer, tablet or smartphone, or simply by phone. Instructions on how to log in or call in will be posted the day of the meeting on the Planning and Inspections Department’s Community Involvement Meetings webpage at www.lincolncounty.org/CIM. The proposed site plan is also available on the Community Involvement Meetings webpage; the case number is CZ #2022-3. 

Rezoning Request Community Involvement Meeting, March 24

Garden Street Communities Southeast, LLC is requesting the rezoning of a 72.9-acre tract from R-SF (Residential Single-Family) to PD-R (Planned Development-Residential) to permit a subdivision with up to 75 single-family detached homes. The property is located on the south side of N.C. 182 at Gainsville Church Road in Howards Creek Township.

A community involvement meeting will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 6 p.m. to provide information about the proposal and to receive comments prior to a public hearing. This will be a virtual meeting on the Zoom platform, joinable via computer, tablet or smartphone, or simply by phone. Instructions on how to log in or call in will be posted the day of the meeting on the Planning and Inspections Department’s Community Involvement Meetings webpage at www.lincolncounty.org/CIM. The proposed site plan is also available on the Community Involvement Meetings webpage; the case number is PD #2022-1.
