CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Jennifer Brinkley Buchanan, 55, of Charlotte passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at her residence.

She was born October 23, 1968 in Durham County to the late Lonnie and Barbara Southern Brinkley.  Jennifer was of the Christian faith and was a marketing director in the insurance industry. She loved being a grandma, cruising with her sister and playing bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Theresa Brinkley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Josh Buchanan and wife Katie of Newton, Dwight Matera of Denver, Colo.; daughter Brittany Buchanan of Charlotte; sisters Pamela Hall of Durham, Donna Perry of Durham; stepmother Harriet Brinkley; grandchildren Leonardo Lorenzi, Kyra Buchanan, Aryanna Buchanan and Sam Buchanan.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
